The meeting was called to order at 7:12 p.m. by Ray Coyne

Minutes: A Hewitt/ T. Coyne motion was passed to accept minutes for September 15th, 2008.

Treasury Report: A treasury report was given by Cathy Cook. She stated that there was $4,227.90 in the savings account and $3,678.98 in the checking account.

Previous/Unfinished Business:
· Concert- The concert in the park was a great success. We had a turn out of about 70 people. A lot of people have said that they would love to see us do it again.
· Halloween Party- We had about 75 kids at the Halloween Party. Not as many as expected but still a good turn out. Tonya returned the remaining $50.12 and receipts to Cathy Cook.
· Music- Ray has picked up a couple of new cd’s for skating.

New Business:
· Recycling- Laura had brought up the issue of recycling. She had mentioned a program that pays people to recycle and thought that this might be good for the rec. center. We will look into it further and see if this is something that we would like to do. It was also noted that recycling cans at the rec. center had stopped and Laura would like to continue doing this.

The next meeting will be held November 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the rec. center.
